quick question
 

Forgive me if this has been covered before, but it is possible for minor races to have custom ships, right?
Just name them ‘neutralxxx_cruiser.bmp’ and you’re set, correct?
The reason I ask is that I’ve gotten permission to do some Vulcan ships, and they’d make a good neutral. I’ve got a few Bajoran too. I know Trek is done to death, but that is where most of the source material is these days.
Oh and if anyone wants, I’ve got a good Saratoga and Hammerhead fighter form Space: Above and Beyond. If I ever get 3D Studio Max, I can get some Chigs too!

Are you planning on doing a space: Above and Beyond shipset? I am dying to play with a SAAB shipset, I made on for SEIII and that was about all I used, SAAB rocks!

Thanks. I know it was a stupid question to ask, but my gaming machine is down at the moment and I couldn't test it out myself. I'll prolly have the Vulcans and Bajorans out by the end of the week is things go smoothly. Any takers?
As for the S:AAB ship set, there just isn’t enough material to do one. Aside form the Saratoga and Hammerhead, there is the ISSCV, and a cargo transpost. I found a site that has a non canon destroyer as well, but that’s it. Same deal for the Chigs, they have a carrier and a destroyer too, then another non canon ship from the same site, the fighters, and that’s it. I’ve looked everywhere and searched everything, and there just isn’t enough. Sorry.
I’d like to see your SE3 set. Email it to me, and maybe I can squeeze a few SE4 ships out of it.
When I upload the Vulcans and Bajorans, I’ll put my Saratoga and Hammerhead up for you, ok?

Actually there is already a cannon Destroyer in SAAB. I think it is in the episode "Sugar Dirt" when they get stranded planet side while the fleet moves off to do battle with some chigs, in the battle scenes we see the saratoga and then right beside it is some kind of destroyer (at least it's of a very idfferend design than the carriers and it doesn't appear to have any fighter bays)

Boy, that was pointless.
