Some weapons act weird in the 0.99 demo
Just played around with the tractor beam in the demo. Somehow the beam pulls the target ship into the very same square my own ship is located, and I can't shoot at it in the same turn if I don't have anymore movement points to get out of that square. Is it how it is supposed to behave?
The other question is on the tachyon projection cannon. The sales brochure says it can penetrate shields and destory weapons, but in the demo it doesn't seem to do anything at all. Does it penetrate armour? CW |

The TPC will skip everything except weapons, but if it hits with less damage than the resistance of the weapon it hits, it does nothing.
Try using a large mount TPC against smaller weapons, or get closer to increase the damage you do.
