Affliction question

If my pretender dies, and I recall him, will he have all the afflictions he had before he died?

He may do, but he may also lose some afflictions. You only know when he turns back up.

He will lose some, and he will retain some. You never know. Lost limbs, never
healing wounds, and some other afflictions seem to stick more than the rest.
