luck vs. cursed

I understand luck gives a 50% chance of avoiding otherwise succesful attacks.

What exactly are the effects of 'cursed'? And is it in any way neutralized by luck?

cursed gives +100% chance to get afflictions when damaged - its unrelated to luck.

Is there a severity of curse, in the way that there's a severity of horror mark, or is it always +100% to afflictions?

Thanks for the reply.

Just so I understand correctly... if a unit with lets say 100 HP gets hit and loses 20 health, its chance of getting an affliction would normally be 20% (right?). With cursed, this effectively doubles to 40%, is that how it works?

And how would things change when we add in regeneration?

There is an ability posessed by a few doom horrors called curse luck, which is exactly what it sounds like.

I must be dumb, because "curse luck" does not sound like anything to me. What does it? Negate luck? Curse on hit?

Haha. I don't have a saved game where I have an Umor lying around, but it negates luck, and might do something else when the cursee is attacked.
