Wheres my KV1 ??
 

I've just started a long campaign as Russian and although I have a section of KV1's that can be placed and do everything they should they have no icons, they can move shoot everything except actually be seen. Is this some wonderful Russian stealth gear lol ?

At the least, what was the date of purchase in your campaign? Should make finding the specific unit easier, and see if it can be reproduced on other installations. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I just set up a battle for 6/42 and my KV1cM1942's, KV1-M1941's, KV1-Ekranami's and KV1 flame tanks (KV8's actually) all show up.

So which unit are you talking about?
One suggestion, before actually starting the game you get a screen with game options. In that screen go to 'Misc' and click on the 'No' behind 'Show ID numbers'. It should go to yes now.
When in a purchase screen in the game you should now see the specific unit and formation ID numbers. By using these a lot of confusion can be avoided.

I got the same as narwan, all 4 types had icons for me. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

One option would by try a reinstall, see if something got lost between install & patching up the game. Unless you've modified OOBs,etc shouldn't loose anything in the process.

I just tested the master game and all KV'1's I looked at showed up in the game.

Hmmm ok it was the KV1 M1941,no biggie I'll just replace them with something else. (edit) Must be as somebody else said a bad D/L no KV icons for any type or period showing

Well there is another explanation. All KV-1 Icons were upgraded in the last release and they are all in the same SHP file. If you don't see KV's you don't have the patch installed correctly and you will be missing a lot of other Icons as well. Re-install the last patch. The KV Icons are in Icon0111.shp

Either that or "somebody" has been "mobhacking" your OOB's.....

Lol I can't post an attachment let alone mobhack anything I had patched up though so I dunno.

(edit) Reinstalled and patched, everything is fine now thanks for the advice
