How do I build a minesweeper? I never played space V empires or any of them..what research?

Research construction to level 2, I think. This allows you to research mines. For each level of mines you not only get to design better mines but you get minesweepers. Then design a ship with minesweeper components. Each component removes a set number of mines when you move into a minefield. Things could be slightly different in seV, I haven't made it far yet.

For other tech either start a new game or save your current one.
to use cheat codes you can type `
then type "alltech" (not the exclamation marks bit)
press ` again to remove cheat bar (bottom left of system map)

after that you can look at the list of techs under ? to see what prerequisites all the tech need.

I thought this was going to be a thread for windows minesweeper using SE stuff. Maybe Fyron or Narf made it.
