I just wanted to comment that pixel art is actually a very difficult type of cartooning, and that KO is very good at it.

I've been making sprites by frankensteining his sprites together, and one thing I've noticed is that the four pixel heads he's drawn are very definitely male or female.

It's less of an issue with torsos for these sprites.

Heads don't really look that different IRL. The secret to art is context! The Vampire Queen is a babe, though, I admit.

Would you believe that was precisely the reason why the old Japanese SNES RPGs has superdeformed character sprites?
