Upkeep
 

I had thought that Maenads had no upkeep, but I seem to have a huge amount of upkeep for the size of my army. Do they have upkeep or not? If they do I'm in trouble.

Edi's DB thingie seems to say 0 gp (as in cost), which ought to mean no upkeep. Mages, however, have crazy upkeep, especially if they're non-sacred. Thus a lot of Panii to get lots of Maenads is what'll get your upkeep up.

yeah, thats what I was hoping for. I can control the number of Panii, but what would I do with a vast force of troops that I couldn't stop making taking the little monry I have. This is good news.

Heh. One of the charms of the Ulm Reborn mod is the penitents who flock to the
priests. Those need upkeep :-) And if you are a softy like me who doesn't send
troops to certain death without a very good reason, you end up with an army graph
that looks like Ermor's.

But I would not change it. The way it is right now is just right :-) Woe to
the player who cannot find a magical source of provisions.

If you give your panii rings of water breathing, and then go research underwater, the maenads won't bother you any more...
