SE V issue with SAVING ship design files
 

In SE4 one could esasily save your ship designs to the empire file, and then, when you loaded the Empire for a NEW game, they would show up.

I've created some basic ship designs in SE5, and then saved the Empire file. However, when I start a NEW game a load in the Empire file, and then start playing, ALL of my Ship designs are gone.

How do we save the ship designs to the Empire so they will show up from one NEW game to the next?

I asked this same question a while back, the reply I got was the save design function was taken out for some reason and has yet to be re-added.

I'd assume it has something to do with the new slot layout for ship design. I'd probably make saving designs a bit more complicated.
