Movement Battle Question
If I cast teleport on turn 31 to the top of an enemy fort and win will this prevent the enemy commanders/mages which are trying to move out of the fort when I host the turn(turn 32)?

Re: Movement Battle Question
If on turn X, you give orders to teleport on top of the castle, and the enemy gives
orders to move out of the castle, then he will move out, unopposed. It's particularly vexing if you also send an army marching to the castle. Then it is perfectly possible that two huge armies pass each other without battle. |
Re: Movement Battle Question
It didn't work like that before. That's because magical movement (teleportation) happens before regular movement does, at both ends. You can still render a huge army immobile or fragment it by casting remote attacks on the province. You can also teleport your army on an enemy army if it's out in the open and a battle WILL commence even if the enemy is moving out of the province.
I have no idea why they would've changed it. |

> teleport your army on an enemy army if it's out in the open
He did not ask about "out in the open". The army in the castle will move even if an enemy has laid siege by teleporting, as long as the orders to march out were given on the same turn as the orders to teleport. I am not guessing here. I know it for a fact, up to v3.10. I very much doubt they changed it in the last patch. |
Re: Movement Battle Question
It did not. Many siege and movement problems are in the shortlist and if this one isn't there already, it's going to be.
