Heartfinder Sword

Description says this sword causes death. Is this always the case? Or does the victim get a chance to roll an MR against it? I think it is instant death. I just took my Moloch with the heartfinder against a Lord of the Wild. The LOTW had something like 400 HP and in one swipe he was a gonner.

As per discription, it says "an enemy with high magic resistance may be able to avoid the evil of the sword". So yeah, I believe it must pass a MR check.
