question re: verbose macs
Quote:
Update: Answer for doing this on macs: open up Terminal, and enter: cd /Applications/Weird\ Worlds/Weird\ Worlds.app/Contents/MacOS ./ww -verbose |
Re: question re: verbose macs
I don't really know how to use command line options on Mac since I don't have one. However, since it's a UNIX derivative, it should be possible to open a command console, cd to the directory where WW is installed and run the game from there with these options. The "stdout" output should then appear in the console window.

Re: question re: verbose macs
Open up a Terminal and do:
cd /Applications/Weird\ Words/Weird\ Worlds.app/Contents/MacOS ./ww -verbose Note that you'll need to escape the spaces with a \ and that your Weird Worlds might be in a different directory. |
Re: question re: verbose macs
Wait, how does this work? I've probably opened Terminal 3 times total, and they were all specifically while following very precise instructions from someone who knew what to do. (And generally it didn't have anything to do with WW:RTIS)
I'd love to get back into modding WW:RTIS. I quit 'cause I was so frustrated with the untracable bugs. I have a partially-finished Weirdyssey mod that I'd love to put to bed properly, but I can't figure out why it's crashing. |

Found it / figured it out.
Amazing what leaving out an "L" will do. No game called Weird Words on my computer. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif |
