Can Ulm get war wagons? Please? :-)

For those who don't know, take a look. War Wagons were used by the hussites in history as mobile strongpoints that dealt with knights. I just think they look cool, and would fit in with ulm's engineering flair.

Just so you know, the Warhammer Empire mod will have war wagons, when it's released. I have the code completed and a placeholder sprite ready. They work pretty well.

This sounds more like a mobile fort. Like in, 10 Wagenburg wagons can be turned into a special fort named Wagenburg in one turn (maybe without the possibility to recruit nationals), and said Wagenburg can be dismounted to wagons again later. But in any case, it's too much to mod this, it would require a game change.

there might be an option to make a ritual spell which summons the mobile fort (how to get the requirement for the 10 wagons I dunno.. and how to get round the laboratory).. and then destroys the 10 wagons you had.. and then a ritual (which take care nicely of the 1 turn change time you wanted) to summon the wagons back and destroy the fort...

hmm still a few flaws there..

I have no idea how to do these things, but I would build an approximation using the tools at hand.

Mobile "forts" are battlefield-only, not something for recruiting purposes. I would simulate them something like this:

1) It's a leader.
2) Icon of a few wagons setup side-by-side (not a square, just one or threed sides)
3) 4 misc slots, no others.
4) standard
5) 10-20 units
6) basic "gun" attack (treat like a crossbow)
7) fear (that's what guns really did back then)
8) large size, high prot, high morale.
9) supply bonus (it's a wagon, it carries stuff).
10) (edit) duh, forgot - it can't move on the battlefield.

I think that would cover it. Make it a construction summons (5? 7?).

Again, don't get hung-up on the word "fort" - it was just a mobile barricade to give infantry a fighting chance vs knights. In the game, you could form a wall with them and put your archers behind them; that's close enough to the original idea.
