What should I do as MA Oceania?
I am in a game as MA Oceania and I cannot find a guide anywhere. What pretender design should I do? Any advice?

You can take a W9 bless for your knights to begin with. They can go out of the water, so they are very much worth it. No use to give them Nature since they have recuperation if I'm right.
You don't really want a rainbow pretender because Voice of Tiamat will find most of what you want underwater, so the only path you may want to take for site searching would be astral, but if you face R'lyeh, it may not be a good idea to put anything but a lot of astral on your pretender. I'd pick something like one of the amphibious titans with Water 9 and 4 or 5 in Earth (since your mages lack this path) or 6 Astral. Add a good order scale to buy your sacreds (capital only, but strong), and maybe growth to avoid your bishop fishes from dying too fast. |

You're able to cast bog beasts out of the box, yet you're wasting time asking what you should be doing? Get to summoning them man!

Big: A W9 bless for your knights is one strategy. Personally, I tend to go with the Mermidon 'rush'. Pick high Order/Productivity and just start pushing them out. Indys just fall over to them.
As far as later strategies, you again have several options. One thing you should do is start looking for Nature sites ASAP to find the castles that are actually none-too-rare underwater. IIRC, you also can forge Clams naturally. Especially if you take an Astral pretender, you can get a Clam economy running quite early. Finally, you could take an Earth pretender of some sort, find the Earth sites, and then make a Dwarven Hammer to make those Clams cheaper. |
