question about arch-devil

Is the arch-devil an unit or a commander? I never had the chance to summon one because I don't use blood-magic much.

Summons whose unit name in the manual is in bold text are commanders.

Nice, can't wait to summon one. Guess I should read the manual again, it has been long since last time.
