The Rage has met its match - Vaxin 1.0
 

I have uploaded the race files for the Vaxin Consortium over in the Scenario/Mod archive. Please check them out and let me know what you think.

On a side note, I just discovered that when a race uses a custom strategies file with stategy names that are not listed in the default strategies file (the Vaxin being in this Category) you must set the Computer Player Difficulty to "High". Otherwise, the AI does not use the custom strategy file, and you get errors saying that the new stategies are not found. This may explain a couple of odd errors that were reported in the past by people having problems using mods.

Alpha Kodiak and the Rage have an excellent reputation, has anyone had a chance to test out this newest creation? Work is seeing me do a lot of overtime, but I would be curious on how others are finding.

Bump... Just curious if anyone has had a chance to try out the Vaxin. They performed very well against the Rage and other AIs in my testing, so I am anxious to hear what others think about them.

Nothing much to report yet, only on turn 15 of a game with them in it. Havn't met them yet, but they are scoring 5th place (oddly enough the Praetorian(sp?) are 1st, and the tdm-modpack Xi'Chung are 7th!). Will let you know more as the game progresses.
