Are Umbrals and Sepulchrals Commander Types?

I ask about these Agarthian units because I want to know if I can equip them with horror helmets, gleaming gold shields, and other thug toys.

No, they're not.

Umbrals are spiffy enough to be worth a GoR, mainly because they have stealth, and with any sort of armor they can take out essentially any PD.

The Tomb Oracle *is* a commander, and is probably enough better than a Sepulchral that GoR on a Sepulchral isn't worth it. The increase in MR is particularly key on anything that you're investing with major equipment.
