patch problem - help needed

Running the patch, and it says it updated my files (I see it running through some files actually).

However, my .exe file remains _310, and starting the game it still says version 3.10.... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

Anybody else have this problem or know what I am doing wrong?

dom3_310.exe.

I tried running it again. From the 'Dom 3 Update Program Window', it seems it only updates 5 files, 'army11.trs' and 4 map files.

There should be a file called dom3_310.exe. You must have made that yourself I think. Try dom3_x86.exe.

(apologies if this makes no sense at all, I haven't looked at the Windows version for a little while)

the file should be named dominions3.exe

Re: patch problem - help needed

nope, don't have a dominions3.exe, only dom3_310.exe. No other .exe files except the uninstall, catgod, and the various patches..

You should have dom3.exe, the file you have can be only a result of renaming it. And you would do it with a backup exe to run older version after patching to 3.14. Are you sure it is not your backup folder? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Zeldor - thanks, that solved it! I guess it didn't update my .exe file as it couldn't find it.

I must have renamed the .exe file right after patching to 3.10 as I don't even remember doing it.
