A very misplaced humor. Extra encumberance more often than not means that your thug has just become useless. I had my raksharaja die because of this 'heroic ability'.

I propose a new item:

MCDONALDS GIFT CARD (D2, misc)
Grants wielder superhuman strength and poison resistance, but becomes diseased. Can summon 2 hospice nurses per turn. Looses feet item slot to diabetes.

I would add:
Movement reduced to zero
Generates deadly poison cloud
