Mousewheel/menu scrolling issue
 

I tried to search for an answer using variants of "mousewheel" and "scroll," and did not find anything. Who knows, maybe I missed it.

Here's the problem: when I use my mousewheel to scroll menus with scroll bars, it makes them all goofy. It does not scroll like it should. Instead, it scrolls the scrollbar marker off the scrollbar, gives me a blank menu, etc.

I'm fully patched to the latest version, using only the Balance Mod.

Any solutions for this?

That's pretty wacky. Never heard about anything like that.
What are your mouse wheel settings in the control panel?

One screen at a time. Works fine everywhere else (like web browsers, etc.).

Try setting the scroll at 10 lines. If that doen't work then go down to 5 or 3 lines. It's probably an issue between your resolution, monitor and mouse. You can probably find a "middle ground" by playing with the settings.

2 lines is the best, that way you don't completely miss rows in Aaron's 2-line lists (such as when selecting shipsets, or looking at a sector with lots of ships)
