Where the hell did all my blood slaves go?
 

Strange situation - at the end of combat, I still had plenty of blood slaves. Still, my commanders dont have a single one. What the?... Do they... use the virgins somehow after combat in case they arent slaughtered, or something?

From my experience if your mage/commander moves too far away from the blood slaves during the battle... the blood slaves will be lost.

If the slaves get injured, they stop being slaves. In Dom 2 this turned them into units though (girl in nightie combat unit - eek!).

Once, after a battle I found two slaves on a unit screen. Next turn they apeared on the gem bar again.

Nm, I wasnt paying enough attention. There was another combat in the same province that turn - indie attack event, and a rather strange one, some spectral mage with undead. I guess its Ermor-only random event, and I've got it instead of him. Darn.
For some reason, this time my blood mages decided to spam imps instead of scripted sabbath S/M and rejuvenation.

It could be Ermor-only event in where the units attack someone else, for Ermor. Ermorian cultists sometimes do that. If they win, Ermor gets the province.
