Lost Empire: Imortals
 

Well the demo is out and you can download it from file planet. its about 500megs. It seems like a nice game but after playing it for about 10 minutes I lost interest. You cannot colonize individual planets. The UI looks good but its kinda of hard to read the small print. The music is, well... out there. The look of the game is good, the story seems interesting, and the game play, well it isn't space empires thats for sure. All in all I think SE V is a much much better game than this one. One last thing, I couldn't figure out how to do a damn thing other than send my ship around to other stars. I think that might be a problem with why I lost interest in the game so rapidly.

I found a bad preview (in German) today that tells about the same:
- bad music (sqeaky)
- no micromanagement, simplification, perfunctory management
- pixelated(?) graphics
- like a pared-down version of galactic civ for newcomers

First impressions: (just) sufficient.

I have to say after playing this game for a while I just don't see the appeal. Space Empires V is so so much better.
