Two quick questions
 

1)If an immortal mage casts a global spell and then dies, does the global get dispelled?

2)Can stealthy commander be assassinated, be assassinated by spell, be mind hunted or be found by any direct means while he remains hidden?

1. no, unless they die for reals (outside dominion, etc.)

2. Mind hunt sees through stealth, as do (IIRC) blanket damage spells like murdering winter, but single target attacks aside from mind hunt usually fail (seeking arrows and assassins for example) so it's kind of case-by-case.
