Patrolling to reduce unrest?
So I check the manual, but there doesn't seem to be any documentation on how many troops are needed to reduce a point of unrest, or how much you can afford to jack up taxes with while patrolling with your starting province. Does anyone have any pointers on how to do this properly?

Re: Patrolling to reduce unrest?
yes I asked this too a few days ago
I can tell you that with my starting army in a MP game I could patrol and have 140% taxes and have no unrest, I DID loose about 800 inhabitants. |
Re: Patrolling to reduce unrest?
A useful tip is that patrol strength is based on AP and perception, rather than number of patrolling units.
In practical terms, this means that the benefits of patrolling your starting province depends on your nation. So Bandar Log can't patrol very well with their starting army (perhaps 140%), but Pangaea with their satyr starters can patrol quite well (180% or so). |
Re: Patrolling to reduce unrest?
Hmm, is the Destealth formula on page 67 also the exact same formula for reducing unrest then?
