Earth Bless bug?
 

In an new SP game I was trying out Lanka and was using a E9N6 imprisoned cyclops Pretender, and in a recent battle I used my prophet to bless my Palankashas and Anusaras.

The Palankashas had 13 total protection with a scale cuirass which was only boosted to 15 and the Anusaras, who had 4 prot with no armor didn't get any Protection bonus! I'm fairly certain my Prophet's prot wasn't boosted as high as it should have been either.

I've only noticed it in this game since it's been a while since I played with a huge E bless, but it seems like the +4 prot from the E9 bless affects the unit's armor rather than the unit itself. Is this a bug?

The earth blessing effects armor only, not natural protection. If you look at the Palankashas they don't have helmets - click on their protection and it'll break out their overall protection to head and body, you should see the blessing bonus on the body. The guys with no armor won't get any benefit from the earth bless.

Well, to be more specific, they won't get the protection bonus... the reinvigoration bonus will still be alive and well and more important in many cases.
