How does knocking off Global Enchantments work?
If the Global Enchantment list gets full, does the last one get knocked off if another one is cast? Or does it at all depend on the amount of gems put into the global? or what?

Re: How does knocking off Global Enchantments work
If you are casting one that is already in effect, there is an attempt to overwrite the existing global, and if you win it becomes yours. The number of gems put into both spells and caster levels affects this overwrite just like it does a Dispel.
If you are casting a different global, then one is selected at random from the list. Your chance to overwrite this different global is again affected by number of gems put into both spells and caster levels, just like a Dispel. |

So let's say a level 5 guy wants to cast a Global spell for 250 gems, hopefully replacing the same spell cast at 200 gems by a level 6 guy- what are the chances of the cheaper spell being dispelled? And if Train A leaves the station at 9:00 a.m. *slap*

Each mage level counts as only 5 gems. So in your example it's basically:
DRN+45 vs. DRN A mere DRN+14 gives a 99% chance of success. The question is, do you feel lucky? Well, do you? |
