Is Aaron Colorblind?

just noticed something today: the description for the toltayan race says:

The Toltayan evolved on a hot barren rock world circling in a binary star system. Physically, they are humanoid in appearance with striking crystal green eyes.

but when you look at the race portrait they have blue eyes! Aaron is colorblind! http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

I just felt like sharing this discovery... I should stop my study and start working for one of those gossip magazines...

He must be colorblind. Look at the wacky colors on the weapons and components. Yellow and purple beam weapons just don't look very intimidating.

Keep in mind, other people did some of the races and CGI art, they might be colorblind.

Besides, the bright colors might be WARNING any who might stand in front of it by accident.

Re: Is Aaron Colorblind?

maybe there were Last minute changes to the race pic without the proper updates elsewhere. or perhaps they were describing another image and it was switched to the current one withiout changing the description.

Wouldn't have been easier to change the race description?

Aha!!! Does this mean that all the beta testers are colorblind too?! Nobody spotted this quite obvious bug..
(or does it mean that I'm the only one who's colorblind, and am I just making a fool of myself here??? http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif )

If it bothers you, it's one of the easiest things in this game to fix. Simply edit the AI_general.txt file for the race in question. Problem solved.

Hey, Yellow/ purple stripes might be really fachionable in 400 yars time. You don't know. I mean, look at the colour combinations that were "in" in the 70s (brown/ orange / bige - *yich*)

for those of you who didn't know, "yich" was a color in the 70s. since most of the world was still in grainy technocolor back then (only having transitioned a couple decades earlier from black and white) you will find alot of obsolete colors that we dont have around anymore.
