Time travel in SPWW2
Folks,
I'm not sure where I should be sending this post having found a glitch in the long campaign time line routine... I've started an ANZAC force in the Western Desert in 1940/41 and intended to move them to the Pacific post Dec 7th. however not unreasonably the troops cannot switch theatres until Feb 1942. Having switched theatres the next fight is vrs Japan (good) but is in Dec 1941, HAVING FINISHED THE PREVIOUS BATTLE IN FEB 1942! It gets worse... When this battle finishes the date is still Dec 1941 so I'm forced back to the Middle East arriving back there before the troops actually left. If I choose to move to the Pacific again in Feb 1942 the cycle, of course, repeats. I'm going to continue in the Middle-East for a few more months and try to transfer again, but even if this works there is clearly still a problem. Not critical and with more humour potential than most but worth reporting. |

We'll look into it. IDK if we have enough time before the patches are built but we'll see what we can find out about this.

Re: Time travel in SPWW2
ANZAC should not have been offered Pacific as a front till 6/42 (there is no point in a long campaign in offering Malaya/Singapore as those formations went into the POW camps). So it concentrates on Kokoda trail, new guinea etc for the ANZAC LC in SWP.
Should be fixed before tonight, to make the final EXE for the patches, which should hopefully be built in the next couple of days. Andy |
Re: Time travel in SPWW2
Thanks folks - it's the Kokoda trail and the rest of PNG I was looking at.
