1.41 bug
S.E.4
Patch V 1.41 No Mods Hi guys. In a game i'm doing at approx turn 117, I encountered a minister controlled colony ship trying to colonise an already colonised planet. It was not one of my race planets, but another races (Norak). Has anyone else seen this. Before you ask, no i didn't save (still haven't got into the habit duh) and so far it hasn't reproduced itself. Just wondering. regards tic |
Re: 1.41 bug
Perhaps the colony was grabbed by the aliens after the minister had given the order to your ship? When the ship arrived, it found the aliens already there.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to stick a planetary napalm on your colony ship, so you can colonize even "previously enjoyed" planets http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon12.gif ------------------ The latest info on Pirates & Nomads (forum thread). -<Download V2.1>- (Now with extra scenario support!) -<Download V1.7>- (With default AIs patched) -<Download compatible EMPs for P&N v1.2 through v1.7>- -<Download SJs latest AI Patcher>- Visit My Homepage Other Links: -<Play By Web>- -<Schlock Mercenary>- (great space-based webcartoon) -<First Strip>- -<8-bit Theater>- (fun comic with the pixellated FF1 characters) |

Re: 1.41 bug
If someone else colonizes a world, you won't find out about it until you have a ship in the system to see it. So you can easily give an order to colonize a planet, and not find out that it's already occupied until the colony ship gets there.
