What is the criterea for the \'animal\' tag?
 

Pretty straightforward question.

Bandar apes get the animal tag. Horned serpents do not, I believe. What defines a unit as an animal?

Horned serpents not being an animal seems to be a statfix bug that I have missed. Thankee muchly.

I don't think any of the snakes are counted as animals though are they?

I have some issues with the monkeys getting the animal tag. I'm really not sure what distinguishes apes capable of building a civilization from people. Is it the fur?

Maybe the Markata, but the others really shouldn't be.

Do the Bandar have the animal penalty in sieges?

Bandar really suck in sieges a lot and that is a bug, I think. I can understand why a wolf or a hawk gets a siege penalty, but why a skilled Bandar warrior does?
