I blame myself....
Ok not sure if I messed things up or not... Previously I had downloaded the Cold War mod (and I might have downloaded the updated China OOB as well?). When patch 4 came out, I wanted to install it over a vanilla WinSPMBT so I simply clicked the Cold War uninstall and then the WinSPMBT uninstall (and manually deleted the couple of remaining files). I then reinstalled the game with all the prior patches and patch 4. At first things looked great and the Japanese OOB finally looked correct in that the M-4 had the correct end of service dates and the M-47s disappeared altogether and the China OOB included Japanese WW2 tanks in the early years (hurray!). Well... when I looked at the Russian and US OOB I noticed that some of the icons were messed up and it was still (apparently) including the Cold War mod "future" weapons... This drove me crazy for awhile until I noticed that I could click the restore OOB button. That appeared to get rid of the "future" weapons but now the Japanese and China OOB appear to be the same as before http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif Now I'm wondering if the improved Japanese and China OOB that I saw before were really part of the Cold War/China mods? Any suggestions?? I guess a simple test would be if someone could confirm whether or not they are still showing M-47 in the Japanese OOB (which is incorrect) after installing patch 4? Thank you and sorry for all the trouble.

Re: I blame myself....
Any time you install any kind of mod that includes graphics or pictures or anything other than an OOB it's best to create a whole new installation of the game and rename it so you don't get things mixed up What I would suggest now is delete the entire game and re-install everything . Both the Chinese and Japanese OOBs have had a lot of work done to them for V4 but I have NO IDEA right now what you might be looking at (and , as you have said, you're not sure what you installed previously either ) but all V4 OOB's have an info line that you can view with MOBHack or in the game when running the Encyclopaedia that has the date set to April/2008. Thanks! After all that, I finally clicked the "restore default OOB" again and this time it appears that everything is back to the way it should be (i.e. no more "future" weapons and the Japanese and Chinese OOBs appear to have the updates I was looking for http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif Not sure what happened but I'm happy http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
