If I'm in a partnership with another empire, shouldn't I get to see all of his ship designs?

By the way, I'm not seeing my partner's stealth ships on the map.

The answer to that is no http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif

The only designs you will get off your ally are the enemy ships they encounter in battle, and their ship designs that they send into battle, not all his designs.

Any uncloaked objects will be fully visible to you.
