OT - Missionforce Cyberstorm and GTA2 in Win XP?

One of my main complaints about each new generation of Windows is that it won't run certain games I really enjoy.

With Win 98 I used to play the old Sierra game Missionforce: Cyberstorm, as well as Grand Theft Auto 2. Also, for that matter, Cutthroats.

Now I have Win XP and none of these will run. I can't even get Missionforce to install.

Does anyone out there know how to run these games with XP?

You can get an updated (and FREE) version of GTA 2 from Rockstar Games.

Dunno about 'Cyberstorm' but are you sure you've used 'compatibility mode' properly? I've always heard that XP can run almost anything that ran under Win 95/98.

The updated GTA2 runs fine on XP... the folks on IRC have been using it for what must be a couple years now.
