Long campaign as a minor power?
 
I have mostly played long campaigns as a major power. I'd like any opinions on a minor power that would be interesting and fun to play. I wonder if the small variety of equipment to add and upgrade makes for a dull game?
Thanks for any opinions.

Thanks for the Italy suggestion. When does the long campaign for Italy end, when they surrender? Also, if you would like to comment on Finland, Hungary, or Romania it would be greatly appreciated.

Italy should end at the surrender - but I gave up in the desert, as I was continuously being wrecked, even by UK 2pdr cruisers. Probably better to start them later, when they have the 90mm SP-AT, there is then a semovente with a decent medium-length 75mm as well, and maybe use the 50 or so borrowed panzer 3 50/l60s?. Or, if you are paying as an infantry-only (no tanks, only ATG) core maybe, so the UK does not bring too many nasties to the table?. (In which case, you may want to set the map with to perhaps 60 as you will be walking in the advance/assault).

Have not played the others, depends on if you play them historically or not - e.g. some can have Panthers and Tigers, in reality rare as hen's teeth. So limit yourself to none, or a section of 2 maybe?.
