Movement Highlight
Since the last update (very cool btw) I've noticed that the movement highlight is usually wrong. I can often move further than the highlight says I can.
I know you guys changed some movement costs in the last update, so perhaps this is a result of that? I haven't seen anyone mention this, but I doubt I'm the only one with the problem or maybe most people keep the highlight turned off. While on the subject of minor bugs, I had a gun crew duplicated in my second PBEM campaign battle. In my first battle I had a gun troop (four tubes). The troop HQ crew were KO, (their gun wasn't destroyed). Then a second crew were routed after their gun was destroyed. As it's a campaign, a Sgt then became the troop leader in the next battle. In the next battle - after repairing the gun troop - I had four guns and five crews. Typical British Army efficiency. I think it was the newly promoted troop leader's crew that was duplicated. I'll check that next time I play a turn and confirm it in this thread. I can post files if you want, but as a PBEM campaign you may need Panzer Bob's password aswell as mine. cheers, Cross |
Re: Movement Highlight
Sometimes I can move less than the highlight indicates. I've noticed it usually takes place when elevation levels are either crossed or moved along.

Re: Movement Highlight
Hi Narwan,
Yes I think I may move less than highlight sometimes. It makes sense about elevation, because that was one of the move cost changes in the last update. It now cost less to move downhill, or more to move uphill. |
Re: Movement Highlight
Password will not be a problem, to fix a problem. Nice to have an extra gun crew though. eh!

Don and Andy, I did check, and the extra crew is led by Sgt Evans, the recently promoted troop leader is 2Lt Evans. cheers |
