Seduction Value
 
What is a reasonable value for seduction? I decided to make a seductress/assassin just to try seduce for purely whimsical purposes.

Mod manual says 10 is the default, so I used a seduce value of 11 on my assassin/seductress. But I've only had 1 successful seduction out of 30+ attempts, with all attempts on indy commanders; the usual mix of mundane infantry, mounted, mundane priests and indy mages. In fact, I'm not even sure I did have a successful attempt because out of frustraion I started looking for variation in commander types and the attempt that I think was successful occured in a non-adjacent province and ended up in a battle anyway.

A value of 15 seems to distribute failure/success evenly with moderate nation commanders, and a 80% chance with most independents.
What are you aiming for?

Yeah about 15 seems to give a pretty good rate against lower quality targets. Unless you set the value rather high though, like 20+, the seducer is still going to be an assassin primarily. This is true of all the basegame seducers also.

Apparently the cat charm has some effect when seducing. I don't know if this has been established as a tested fact in dom3 though.

I was thinking that I would be happy with 50 to 60 % success rate because I was making a combination unit. Something not real strong as an assassin, nor real strong as a seductress. That's why I only went with seduce 11, one more than the default.

I map edited myself to start with 12 of them. Seemed like a fair test.

If anyone is interested in including an overweight, one-eyed, clapped up hooker with 7 rotten teeth in their next mod, I can send you this darling. I 'll even forego attribution.

As a follow-up to this, I kept advancing the seduction value until I was in the low 20's because I was not having any success. Finally I added #female to the monster spec's and it had 100% success.

I used copy stat from a Tien Chin Imperial consort. I surmise that the unit is not set up as a female, other than name. There may be other possibilities that I am unaware of also.

I'll take the seduce value down to a more reasonable value than where it is because even my jaded sense of balance is offended (slightly) by 100% success.
