recovering deleted pretenders
 

so i had a pretender made that I loved, he had the perfect titles. since those are just randomly assigned, it is great to have good ones; and some seem rarer than others. it is especially nice when you get ambigious titles that don't cue other players to what type of pretender it might be.

at any rate, I was going to load him up for an SP game for some testing. however, i accendintely hit "delete pretender" at the selection screen. it doesn't ask to make sure that's what you want to do, and he was gone just like that.

edit: nvm. i just realized i had a copy of him in email. lovely.

my question, is there any way to recover this guy? because it was done in game, the file doesn't show up in the trash. but I thought any file that was once on the computer is recoverable as long as the HD hasn't filled up and the space that file was using hasn't been changed. my computer is a mac. any help?

A quick Google search revealed a lot of undelete Mac software out there. I don't have a Mac so I couldn't try it. Of course, the complicated bit is that if you're trying to undelete a file the last thing you want to be doing is installing new software (thus risking overwriting the deleted file). You'd want to have it on there already or install it to a different drive.
