Turn Sequence: When do PD Increases Happen?
 

I've always wondered this and finally got the motivation to pull out the rulebook but don't see it in anywhere. Does anyone know? Thanks.

No, Micah interpreted it right. I always wondered if when you order PD raised it went into effect right away or fell somewhere in the turn sequence. I assumed it was right away but it always bugged me to want to confirm that was the case before spending funds to raise PD prior to an expected invasion (eg it would suck to spend money on PD and not get the benefit before you are attacked - but that is how mercenaries are treated so I wondered if PD might be similar)
