Doom Horrors -- what happened????
 

Objective: Capture some doom horrors.

Unit: Seraph, tartarian chains, lots of luck, lots of reinvigoration.

I wished for a doom horror. One showed up and attacked. I cast Phoenix Pyre, personal quickness, personal regeneration and then attack.

Result: One hit, the doom horror routs. Oh, well, bad luck.

Again: One hit, the doom horror routs.

At this point an ashen angel shows up. This is defeated in straight-up combat.

A third try: I get off my buffs then the doom horror comes up and starts munching on me. Whack, whack, whack, I'm dead. Phoenix Pyre does *NOT* activate (note: before he starts swinging I'm at fatigue 5.) Twiceborn does *NOT* activate.

Search isn't working, how do I do it?

And then do I view the battle to see what happened during it?

Run Dominions from the command line (or edit the target in a shortcut) using "dom.exe -ddd". The number of d's determine how much gets written to the log file, which is a normal text file that will appear in your Dominions folder.

yup. once you've started dom3 with debugger, go straight to the game of interest and watch the battle. quit game and your debug log with just that battle will be created.

ARGH!! Turns out I went on with the game, I can't replay the battle.

Any idea what happened?
