KOREA 2009

Led by the United States a coalition has been formed to put preassure on the always troublesome North Korea, and force them to abandon the development of Nuclear weapons.

A number of nations deploy forces to South Korea but - the North Koreans do not consider the coalition to be a serious threat. Disagrement between chiefly European nations and the United States on what course to take and the already heavy military committments to Iraq and Afghanistan lulls the North into a false sense of security.

When the coaltion offensive is launched the North Koreans are far from fully prepared..., but their soldiers lack nothing with regards to fighting spirit.



Zip includes six scenarios of various size, all likely to be relatively hard for an experienced player.

I am playing the Carnage at Kaesong right now and have just taken the Ginseng plant. You are not kidding about the carnage... Looks like they are counter attacking, hopefully I will hold it. :-)

I did and ended up with a marginal victory. It was a good and fun scenario. Thanks

Slugging through the second battle. Running up the first two hills now. Has a 'Porkchop hill' feel to it...
I'm a bit suprised at the ineffectiveness of the ROK airforce. They often don't acquire targets, drop their bombs short or if they hit the hex don't do damage. Those ageing sams and flak guns are a serious threat to the F4D's and E's. Interesting battle.
