Posting crashes my browser...
 

Don't know what the deal is here folks. Maybe some of you have experienced this too. I'm using IE 5.5, Win98, T-1 connection, PIII733 and 320 MB RAM. Every time, (and I mean EVERY), time I post a message, my browser crashes when it hits the redirect page - not the whole computer, just IE and all open IE windows. My reply DOES post 'cause when I relaunch IE, I can go in and view the Posts fine (don't have to restart or anything at all). I go to other forum sites with no problems and post there OK. It seems to be something with there redirect script. I'll post this and my browser WILL crash....

Anyone else see this problem????

I had the exact same thing happen when I became too critical of things. Also if you notice, your transfer rate is very low. If you get on the right track again, then you can post without problems and your transfer rate will increase significantly. I suppose this is a self defense mechanism of the system. Start thinking more carefully and your situation will improve......

Hmmm My browser just froze up after it opened this page.

Could have been a coincidence, since WinME has been running for almost 100 hours in a row.

I have not had any problems. Maybe you have hit the magical 6 month barrier on win98 and need to do a fresh install or clean up the reg. Or you have left the computer on too long. 98 should be rebooted every 3 days.

Try opera and see if it does the same thing
