Does death bless affect battlefield spells?
 

I know I saw a post where someone tested overland spells with a death bless and afflictions are increased with the death bless.

And I know it works great with battlefield spells.

I was just wondering if anyone knows if it works with the persistant battlefield spells, like the spell that poisons the entire battlefield (forgot the name)

No idea of whether it affects Foul Vapors because poison damage mechanics work differently from normal damage, but spells like Wrathful Skies etc are affected.

No idea.

THe death blessing affliction effect on spells was a bug that was kept in game because it is fun. I have no clue where it is added in the code, so it's up to you to discover http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Not sure about poison as that damage is a bit different, but it seems like someone tested it with firestorm and it worked.

It definitely works with poison damage from weapons, so I don't see why not with spells too.

I agree that it's a good 'bug' since it isn't counterintuitive or lame at all. If it really isn't supposed to work that way at all I wouldn't stand in the way of it being fixed though.

lol it's about the only thing the death bless has going for it.. if it's fixed...
