They are there to provide low-leadership companies in the early part of the GPW, representing the low leadership post the purges by Stalin.

A platoon quality leader and absolutely no sub-division below that means they are very, very fragile.

Yes, there are two medium tank companies. One as a company ( F67 ) and one as a platoon ( F104 ) for all the reasons Andy gave. It's been that way for years

It has no value as it is assured that in WinSPWW2 3.0 too most with Company medium tank (10).
