Kingmaker-temp sub needed
 

The Second Mega Game, Kingmaker, has hit turn 42. With Very Hard research, the game is still midgame. Of the original 63 players, only 30 remain. Tir Nog is in decent shape. Reay(player of tir nog) needs a sub from 20th August until the 11th of September.

I would hate to see his race have to go AI since it is among those that survived the initial bloodshed which was pretty vicious. So if anyone wants a chance to see Tir Nog in an early mid game setting, or be in the 2nd Big Game for 3 weeks, Please contact Reay.
Maybe a good chance for one of the developers to take a peek at one of their newer races
in the mid game?

If no one is willing to take it over as a temp sub., let me know if you are willing to take it over permanently. If no temp. can be found before reay leaves on vacation Tuesday, the race will have to be given to a new player or set to ai(:

How often is it hosted?

If (and only if) it is a matter of going to the AI I'll consider it. I don't play MP because I don't have time for diplomacy or to spend more than a couple of hours a week on the game, but I'd like to think I can do better than the AI.

I shall be unavailable next Monday and Tuesday, so if I am given the position the earliest I can send in a turn would be Wednesday (Thursday or later would be better and allows me to study the position properly).

I don't have any mod other than CBM installed and would need help if other mods are used, and also instructions on how to send in turns (I am completely computer iliterate).

I don't mind being a temp but I doubt if Reay would want to take back the position after I have messed around with it...

This is going to be very tight for me.

Still, I am game if you cannot find anyone else. At this hosting rate I definitely want to give the position back to Reay (if the position still exist!) after 3 weeks.

When is your next hosting and what time zone are you on? I shall be travelling from next Monday to Wednesday. If you host on Sunday I won't be able to send in a turn unless you wait for me until Wednesday evening. If you host on Mon and Wednesday evenings next week I am OK.

I have some free time this weekend. Please send me a trn file ASAP even if Reay is still playing (let me know) so that I can study the position. I'll need some hand holding on how to retrieve and upload the trn files. Please also alert me to any particular house rules and any unwritten rules that are understood by other MP players as this will be my first MP game.
