Is there a Singapore OOB availble to download?
 

Is there a Singapore OOB somewhere that I can get? Or is someone making one?

Which OOB should I use as a substitute since there isn't one available ingame?

Its on my to-do list. But because of a lack of internet in my house currently (that will be rectified) I've been slacking on WinSP related projects heh. I need to finish Sri Lanka before I can get started on the next project too.

I'm not sure any OOB would be a good substitute, but Malaysia would be one possibility (though their militaries are quite different). I've often thought about adding Singapore to the Malay OOB instead of making a completely separate one. This based on the fact that there's not OOB with a close "start date" to Singapore's independence, and it was part of a larger Malaysian federation prior to that.

I'd be the person to do it around here either way more likely than not :)

If I were going to make the Singapore OOB, what country would people suggest having it replace? Would a replacement for Green be good enough or is there a Southeast Asian (or other) country that people would think more suitable?

I've decided to do the OOB having it run my updated version of the stock Malay OOB between 1/46 and 9/65 (which I believe basically is the stock OOB), and then switch over the Singapore OOB after its official independence. I may also add in pre-existing Singapore formations if they appear suitably different.

This will be my next active project.

I'd question adding Singapore to the Malay OOB only because the Malaysians are a potential threat to Singapore. Not a likely threat, maybe, but they have the most control over access to Singapore, and IIRC they provide a lot of utilities to Singapore (power, water, etc).

You are exactly right in my mind. This is why I won't be adding them to the OOB or replacing Malaysia with the OOB. My plan is to copy over the Malay OOB and delete everything after 8/65, and then build the Singapore OOB into that. That way if I have to use a OOB that starts 1/46 (like Green, which I think I might use) or any other OOB that doesn't start at 9/65 (which none of them do, and none are really close either), you can still play it before that date. Since Singapore was not independant and then part of the Malaysian federation prior to the 9/65, this seems most appropriate.
