blowing mines

is it possible to destroy mines with artillery ? one lauch of bomblets to the ground and does it or does it not affect the mines

would be easy to clear minefields that way if it does

Impossible. Was possible in Steel Panthers 3 (SPMBT is based on Steel Panthers 2), but was too effective there - it nearly negated the need for engineers, purchasing few heavy arty pieces was enough.

However I do believe it's possible to spot minefields with artillery. Or alternatively the game is tripping on me.
