Bombard screen improvements
 
Sorry if been mentioned already & realise even if think useful may not be possible to implement but thoughts please.

1) Add a button that delays to 1.0
Handy if covering areas like choke points waiting for target as do not have to keep moving to stop firing.

2) Applies more to WW2 but for all short range arty i.e. mortars would it be possible to do one of the following.
a) When click on info screen from bombard center on unit.
b) Better option show units max range with a coloured circle
Cuts down micro management as often especially with Mtrs attached to inf comp tend to forget where they are. Just makes knowing which to use where & when to move then up quicker.

The ideas have merit, but not sure if the engine would allow it. I'm sure soon an expert answer will appear.;)

just couple days ago i asked my opponent does he know a button to delay bombardment to 1.0 because it seems like he could do that

but maybe he is moving the bomb hex around to delay it close to 1.0

To be sure that has to be what he doing, I do it from time to time as well, it takes some time to do it but it is worth the effort. Time on Target is big part of the effective use of artillery and not always easy to do.
