Having Smoke back by Xmas would be a nice present!! LOL. :D But seriously Folks. Just an update on some attempted work arounds. ANY OTHER IDEAS WE ARE OPEN TO THEM. We've tried working around it several ways but with no or partial success. The one that failed completely was having my troops go down to BG Supply (Supply Dump) and try coaxing some smoke grenades out of the Supply Sergeant with a bottle of Scotch. This DID NOT work!!:doh: The other method involved playing the first game out in one turn, having one side occupy the Vhexes, while I withdrew off the battlespace. However, only one that got smoke the next battle was my unit. We tried both occupying equal Vhexes and both withdrawing out of the battlespace, but the game would not end. In the meantime, Tanks, Halftracks and Trucks make for expensive and clumsy smoke screens. LOL. Bob out:D |

FWIW it is on our To-do list but both Andy and I have time constraints this time around. He's back at university and the time available to devote to coding are very severely restricted.
We should be able to fix all the little "buggy" items like this for the next release but don't expect a whole lot of new things, just tweaks. The biggest tweak so far is going to be for un-observed arty. We'll tell you more about that when we are ready to release the upgrades Don Quote:
