Will SEIV Ever Be Sold In Stores?
 

Every day I tell someone of this great game, and every day I am told that if it is not sold in a store, they will not buy it out of fear of paying for something over the net.

I assure them that its safe, but many people have serious doubts.

So, what would it take to get SEIV onto the shelves?

We have been offered deals by almost every major chain and publisher out there, however every single one of those deals would have ripped either us or Aaron off and in most cases both.

For a game like this the only way to make money making it is to sell it Online. Selling it in retail without selling 50,000 units would be suicide money wise. Unfourtanetly only 1% of the games sold this year sold more than 50,000 units in retail.

Trust me retail is evil...

I will continue to promote this game and Shrapnel to everyone who'll listen. I am working on getting war buffs to check out your awsome line of war games. In fact, I am very proud of this site, and enjoy talking it up to people. I recently attened tribes con 3, one of the west coasts larges lan partyies, and I played SEIV during the night. In the morning, I had an audiance of about 40 + people all wanting to know where they could get the game. I told them Shrapnel Games, and gave them all the links. A few, I hope, have purchased the game. Later, a few of them came back and told me that the Shrapnel site had other games that really interested them, and they intended to order them. Thay thanked me for stearing them to you. I was happy to do it, and will continue doing it.
