extra scout.
 
Hi
Now this is not a post about that subject Im not allowed to talk about its a post about a particular formation.
Formation 088 in the Japanese OOB. This formation includes a scout team. Equivalent formations, formmation 214 "GrW Trp (le)" in the German OOB and formation 103 "Mortai Leggare" in the Italian OOB dont include a scout team. I wonder if Jap formation 088 could lose the scout team? Reason being you cant sustitute 088 for a Jap inf coy support section you have to add it giving a extra "squad" to the coy and of course the extra scout. The "unneccesary" scout makes this exsercive a bit more expensive than need be.

I like to have scouts/snipers/FOs in my arty formations, since if the unit calling arty support is the 0 in the formation, the shells seem to be fired a bit faster, and the scout can protect the mortars from an enemy trying to destroy them

I like units to be "historically accurate" I think removing the scout brings us a little closer to this ideal.
In this case the scout cant call in arty as its the third rather than the first unit in the group.

lol, didn't noticed that, anyway, if that's "unhistorical" in think it could be changed in the next update

FYI that formation has been set up that way for years and I have no problem with the scout being there and I see no reason to change it because one (1) player disagrees with it so no, it's not going to be changed.
